We would like to take this moment to welcome all prospective members to the Clan Logan Society International. This new clan society hopes to carry on the work of the original Clan Logan Society formed in Glasgow, Scotland during 1913.

The original Society was formed chiefly by the efforts of Thomas Logan, Esq., J.P., of Lastalrick House, Shawlands, Glasgow, who was elected President of the Society, with the late Thomas Logan, Esq., Provost of Patrick, as Hon. Secretary; the late William Logan, as Bard of the Society, who wrote several Clan songs and music, and who was a most energetic and able clansman; and Piper Logan, who composed the Clan March, which has unfortunately been lost to time.

The goals of this society are the same as those to which they inspired to achieve in 1913; to foster the Clan sentiment and spirit, to collect and preserve the history of the Clan, and to encourage the wearing of Highland Dress, and this is just to name a few.

This new clan society belongs to all of us, and can only become what we the members want to make of it. Participation is not a requirement, but something which to inspire to. All members are asked to do what they can to truly make this society a Clan.
